The Manger self-sustainable dairy project is run from our premises at Faithful Care. The number of our livestock has recently been increased to five. We have acquired a milking machine for the cows and are producing our own milk which is then supplied to the various centres.

We are going to purchase more equipment which will assist us. We are looking forward to upgrading our dairy to a fully-equipped agricultural self-sustainability project.

 

Facilities available:

 

· 3 Areas for cattle to graze/rest

· Cold room unit for feed and milk storage

· Milking area

 

The dairy project requires the following assistance:

 
·  We need to provide our livestock with food.
·  We are looking to acquire a cream separator.

·  We need a large cooling tank to be able to store the milk.

·  Refrigeration facilities.
·  A pasteurizing machine
·  A churning machine.
